Description
The Shipping Returns Coordinator position is responsible for units that are returned during the shipping process. This position will gather returned units from our trucks and notify production when new units need to be made. The Shipping Returns Coordinator will process Return Merchandise Authorizations for units that need rework, that have been rejected or were undeliverable.

This is primarily an office job with frequent visits to the manufacturing floor. The position requires the ability to climb stairs, bend or stand, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee regularly lifts and/or carries objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifts and/or moves more than 40 pounds
Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to visit the factory and be exposed to climactic variations, various levels of vibration, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office is usually low, but hearing protection may be advisable or required for prolonged visits to certain parts of the factory.

Detailed
Sort returns and repair paperwork - identify driver/trailer exceptions. Process Return Merchandise Authorizations. Gather all returned units off trailers & document the returns with pictures or written descriptions. Communicate large amounts of returns to shipping as they will be responsible for delivering. Inspect Windows for damage. Communicate with contacts in production buildings.
Complexity
Proficient with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Outlook. Familiarity with Quaker's Q1 order system preferred, Familiarity with Quaker's window and door products preferred.
Knowledge
High school diploma or a passed GED test. Minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience. Minimum 1 year office experience preferred.
Leadership
No direct management or supervisory responsibilities.
